Plaswire creates commercial solutions to waste products, beyond basic recycling, within the Industrial Sustainability sector. Transforming ‘forever’ waste products, Plaswire has developed RX Polymer for the 100% repurposing of residual packaging, wind turbine blades, aviation carbon fibre and marine composites.
RX Polymer utilises vast amounts of complex wastes – diverting from incineration, substituting for virgin raw materials and preventing the production of CO2, 6 x the weight of RX Polymer.
The company’s Lurgan site can process 35,000 tonnes of polymer waste currently exported from NI for incineration, preventing up to 200,000 tonnes CO2 annually, cleaning our air, cleaning our environment.
Plaswire takes polymer recovery to a higher level – re-purposing complex and difficult polymers. RX Polymers are being used, recovered and reprocessed into ‘as-new’ material ready for re-use. Circularity, carbon reduction and a route to net zero.
